電影《王者之聲：宣戰時刻(The King's Speech)》，是一部描寫英國歷史的戲劇片，參與演出的演員陣容有邁可坎邦(Michael Gambon)、蓋皮爾斯(Guy Pearce)、柯林弗斯(Colin Firth)與傑佛瑞羅許(Geoffrey Rush)等人。

由柯林弗斯所飾演的柏帝(Bertie)，終其一生為講話口吃所苦，卻因為擔任國王的父親喬治五世，以及醜聞纏身而遭罷黜的王儲愛德華七世的相繼去世，突然被加冕為英格蘭國王喬治六世。

由於即將面臨戰爭的英格蘭非常需要一位領袖，柏帝的妻子也就是未來的女王伊利莎白(Elizabeth)，安排他與一位名叫萊昂內爾洛格(Lionel Logue)的古怪語言治療師見面。

雖然一開始兩人的見面不太愉快，但在經過非傳統的治療過程後，兩人建立起牢不可破的羈絆。

在家人、政府成員、洛格與溫斯頓‧邱吉爾的支持下，身為國王的柏帝克服了自己的語言障礙，透過無線電發表了演說，鼓舞了英國國民，並且團結一致對抗戰爭。

電影《王者之聲：宣戰時刻》，是根據英國國王喬治六世的真實故事改編而成，因此本片遵循英國皇家的要求，採用了喬治六世的原音。

The King's Speech 

The King's Speech is a British historical drama film.

After the death of his father King George V (Michael Gambon) and the scandalous abdication of Prince Edward VII's (Guy Pearce), Bertie (Colin Firth) who has suffered from a debilitating speech impediment all his life, is suddenly crowned King George VI of England. 

With his country on the brink of war and in desperate need of a leader, his wife, Elizabeth (Helena Bonham Carter), the future Queen Mother, arranges for her husband to see an eccentric speech therapist, Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush). 

After a rough start, the two delve into an unorthodox course of treatment and eventually form an unbreakable bond.

With the support of Logue, his family, his government and Winston Churchill (Timothy Spall), the King will overcome his stammer and deliver a radio-address that inspires his people and unites them in battle.

Based on the true story of King George VI, THE KING'S SPEECH follows the Royal Monarch's quest to find his voice.
