以熱門電玩遊戲為藍本改編、在電影界造成大轟動的影片惡靈古堡，推出續作第四集《陰陽界(RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE)》，這回還將採用目前最夯的3D影像來呈現。

在新作當中，由蜜拉喬娃薇琪(Milla Jovovich)所飾演的艾莉絲(ALICE)，繼續在活死人橫行的世界裡尋找存活下來的正常人類，並且帶領他們前往安全的地方。

在本集當中，艾莉絲與死對頭保護傘公司(Umbrella Corporation)之間的致命戰鬥，來到新高潮，同時艾莉絲也意外獲得老朋友的協助。

為了徹底遠離活死人的威脅，一行人動身前往洛杉磯(Los Angeles)。不過當他們抵達後，卻發現當地被數以千計的活死人所掌控，跟原先的預想完全不同。艾莉絲與她的伙伴們，也逐步落入致命的陷阱圈套中。

part of the fun in this movie is the physicality that comes along with it.

knowing how to shoot with guns, doing some of your own stunts, and really making it as real as possible.

the stunts in this movie are tremendous.

the fight choreography and the jumps and the shooting and running and falling and tumbling.

even though i was ready for it i didn't know it was to this extent.

one of the challenges that i faced on this movie is the amount of green screen we had to do,

it really makes you use your imagination to come up with things and use substitution to give it that fire and believability,

visual effects are a huge part of this show. we couldn't do the movie without visual effects.

we're doing a ruined Los angles cityscape. we're doing a full tokyo city simulation as well. 
我們製造了遭破壞洗禮的洛杉磯市廢墟，還模擬出整座東京市

so we destroy tokyo by blowing it up with a plasma blast.

we're also showing the zombie crowd in this movie with some shots where we see up to 500,000 zombies. 
在片中我們也呈現出到處都是殭屍的景象，在一些場景中殭屍的數量甚至多達五十萬

we've always had very big time consuming visual effects. and on this movie we don't have more time than we normally have but we have more work to do.
我們總是花很多時間處理電影特效，而這次我們沒有更多的時間，卻有更多的特效要做

i think one of the best things about this resident evil is how close it is to the resident evil games. 
我認為惡靈古堡電影最棒的地方之一是，非常貼近電玩原著

i get to fight the axe man which is some of people's favorite character in the games.

(in this movie) theres zombies and fighting for survival and lots of action.

its a totally fresh resident evil movie,

I'm blown away by the things I've seen so far and that we've done and people are going to go crazy when they see it

The fourth installment of the hugely successful RESIDENT EVIL franchise, RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE is again based on the wildly popular video game series, and will this time be presented in 3-D. 

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, ALICE (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety.
