有史以來最膾炙人口的愛情故事，主演的竟然是...花園裡的裝飾人偶？即將上映的電影《羅密歐與茱麗葉(Gnomeo and Juliet)》，取材自莎士比亞備受推崇的故事作品，以詼諧、跳脫傳統的方式重新改編。導演是執導《史瑞克2》的凱利‧艾西貝瑞(Kelly Asbury)，而片中經典的原創歌曲出自艾爾頓強(Elton John)之手，至於為男女主角配音的，則是詹姆斯艾麥維(James McAvoy)與艾蜜莉布朗特(Emily Blunt)。

就如同片名一般，分屬兩個不同陣營的男女主角，由於各自所屬的團體長期不合，因此有著許多困難必須克服。不過，在粉紅色塑膠製的紅鶴群與瘋狂割草機的攪和下，這對年輕的戀人能夠永浴愛河、白頭偕老嗎?
